'Nautical' from TeemuL - 'Watcher in the Water'

My entry for the nautical bonus round is Watcher in the Water. It is a resin Citadel Finecast model from the box (surprise!) Watcher in the Water.

The creature is green in the box art, but I decided to paint it blue. I don't remember how it is in the book. Green makes it look like a giant frog or toad with tentacles. Blue is more sinister, I think.

Even though the blue base color is same all the way, I wanted some difference to different areas. I think the body and legs are harder, cretin like, material, and I highlighted those areas through grey to white. The tentacles are softer and they a highlighted to lighter shade of blue. The look slimier as well. :)

I don't much like scenic bases, it is just stupid that this thing is climbing over the same stones and corpses all the time. Well, I don't think he sees much playing time, so it might be okay for the display.

The eye sockets don't look as dark as they look live, may be the light gets through the washes?

Here the eyes look better. The bottom side of the tentacles is painted like flesh, dark blue contrasts nicely with flesh tones and it looks a bit more natural.

Even old Tom looks puzzled when confronting this one. :)

This one is just to show the size. Tom is on regular 25mm round base, so this creature has a huge base. It is a 28mm monster, so it's basically 10 points. Considering the size, I humbly expect some bonus points.
