Today's NOTD is NYC Color in Bowery Black.I think that NYC makes some great nail polish and for great prices. I have a few of their colors. What I love most about this color is that its not a pure black. It is almost a really dark grey/black color with some slight shimmer in it. In some lights it does look black but in other lights you can really see the pretty shimmer. I love adding a matte topcoat to this color sometimes. I think it adds such a chic look in matte. These pictures were taken outside in NYC since the lighting in my apartment is terrible. I hope you all the authentic NYC in these pictures.

This polish isn't ask opaque so I did have to apply three coats. I didn't mind too much though since it did turn out nice in the end and for the price I can't complain too much. I would rather a polish be thinner than overly thick anyways. What do you all think of the color? Do you like black polish?
