I've been reading about contests on other blogs and have so far refused to be creative enough to think of one. Well, I'm weak, I confess and I see how fast other bloggers rake in the followers. I fold my arms and scowl at the computer when I see someone who has blogged for less time than me with a hundred followers already.
I shouldn't be petty or jealous, but alas, I'm human. Blogging is a fabulous way to advertise yourself, to network. Is there anything wrong with that? No. So, I should get off my high horse and get my name out there. I love making new friends. I love visiting new blogs and I want others to feel the same about me!
Here is what I am going to do. My goal is to reach 1oo followers by April 31! Can I do that? Why not? Why not think big? Everyone loves prizes and I have been the recipient of those blog prizes myself. More than once. So here it is.
The Grand Prize will be a $20 gift certificate to Bath and Body. I LOVE that store! ALSO, you will receive one of my favorite books of ALL time, by James Patterson, "The Jester," with my own special note inscribed to you in the front, AND (the best part of all) a full body massage from Sarah Wiser (in Farmington, Ut.)
